The best way to reach Selwicks Bay is to drive to Flamborough and park in the pay and display car park near to Flamborough Head lighthouse.

On foot

Across from the car park and cafe in Flamborough, you’ll see a set of steps which take you down to Selwicks Bay. The walk down is steep so you should wear suitable footwear and if you are taking a dog with you, make sure you have a strong lead.

Walking to Selwicks Bay from Bridlington is common among seasoned walkers as you get to take in the sights of South Landing and Danes Dyke along the way.

By car

If you want to reach Selwicks Bay by car, you should park in one of Flamborough’s pay and display car parks and head down the steps to the sandy area. This is the closest you can park to Selwicks Bay.

By bus

You can get the bus directly to Flamborough from Bridlington or Thornwick Bay, but you will need to make the rest of the journey on foot.

There are little to no facilities at Selwicks Bay, but nearby Flamborough does have facilities which is just a short walk away.
